A player can surge up a ranking list due to a number of factors like a growth spurt, change in coordination, better access to training/coaching, buying into the program, timing, opportunity for more playing time and adaptation.When we adjust, modify, or re-confirm a ranking, it's based on real-time evaluations and data and you'll get the notification on this page first.

WHL Draft Rankings

The Scouting News is pleased to release our year end WHL bantam draft top 250 player prospect rankings. The list was compiled for us this year by former WHL scout Sean Wilson (Saskatoon Blades, Prince Albert Raiders and Seattle Thunderbirds). Sean was in attendance this season evaluating players in person at all major tournaments, as well as the BC Cup, Alberta Cup, SaskFirst and the Hockey Manitoba POE's. A few players with very intriguing rankings in Sean's final list include the likes of late season risers Tyler Popowich, Paycen Bjorklund, Caiden Daley, Eric Florchuk, Ryan Chyzowski, Eli Zummack, Kaleb Bulych, Cole Clayton and many others of note.

North American 2000 Rankings!

Updated Sunday EVENING: We're proud to present our 2000 date of birth top prospect ranking list, which ranks the top 1000 players currently available on the North American recruitment marketplace. This list is a consensus list on who'll be the most actively sought after recruits by NHL, CHL, USHL, NTDP, Prep School and Junior hockey programs in North America over the course of the next three seasons. Big time players for this age group include the likes of fast rising superstars like (in no special order) like Jared McIssac, Mattias Samuelsson, Joseph Veleno, Bode Wilde, Jake Wise, Ty Smith, Jonathan Tychonick, Jake Wise, TJ Walsh and many others (to many top players to mention).

The new updated August edition of the North American top 2000 DOB rankings are now complete (top prospects ranked 1 to 831). We cross referenced coaches, scouts, managers, agents, advisors and insiders and placed into a proper sequential order the best of the best based on upside, talent, skill, size, speed and end performance results. A few players standing out early in this age group (in no special order) include Wilde, Smith, Tychonick, Addison, Olivier, Busby, Lavallee, Popowich, Weiss, Stotts, McQuaid, Burzan, Coxhead, Thomas, Guest, Veleno, Wise, McIssac, Samuelsson, Wahlstrom, Merkley, Woo, St-Laurent, Deveaux, Nizhnikov, Pivonka, Walsh, Focht, Roberts and countless others (see members area for the full list which is now posted).
